It is obvious that slavery laid the foundation for a socio-political and economic system that has spread a culture of violence, torture, and individualism to all ends of the Earth. The growing number of casualties and victims of war, genocide, and oppression are now entrenched in our universal consciousnesses and the whole world needs to remember.
